This Ironbark fencing and gate project in Warwick Queensland is a great example of design, earning its inclusion as a finalist in the Fencing Design category of the Australian Fencing Awards for 2021.
Installed by Darren Skewis Fencing in Warwick, QLD, they faced a lot of difficulty in sourcing and obtaining high quality timber for the job, but once they surpassed this challenge, it’s evident that they were able to create a fence that made people stop and remark ‘this is the best fence I’ve ever seen’.
Products used on the project included:
- All Red Ironbark
- 200 x 200 gate posts
- 150 x 150 intermediate posts
- 150 x 50 rails and capping
- 150 x 25 rough sawn boards
- 145 x 19 dressed boards for gate
- 5m steel framed sliding gate frame with 145 x 19 boards
- 1400mm steel framed gate with 145 x 19 boards
Darren Skewis Fencing rose to the test with this project to create a picture-perfect Ironbark Fence.
